I love this place, is really near to my new home. The ambience here is everything, is so cozy and comfortable. You can relax, share a bretzel, grab some beers, even do a degustation to choose your favorite one, and the prices are really right. Personally I love the Frida beer, it tastes so good, raspberry-ish… 100 recommend.
I would move to the building upstairs to pull out a Lily and Marshall - MacLarens pub. Is that iconic for me.
The atmosphere here is amazing!! Suitable for bigger groups or even just 2 people. They have a lovely Biergarten in the back, with a fireplace that keeps you cozy in the cooler weather of autumn. There is a small selection of food (paninis, eurodogs) and over a dozen of beers. Highly recommend this place for a drink in a cozy environment!
I had mixed feelings about Benelux - Brasserie Artisanale. The mojito was delicious, but it was overshadowed by an excess of ice; I had to request its removal, leaving only a small amount of liquid. The service was acceptable. I'll give it another try to better evaluate the place because, to be honest, I couldn't quite grasp the vibe during my first visit.

Pretzels and beer?? Yes please! Great place to have a pint and try one of their pretzels and delicious hot dogs. Great beer selection and friendly staff . Definitely will be back!
His location is awesome. Everything from the old bank feel to the innovative craft beers make this place somewhere to add to your list of great brewpubs. I had the seasonal maple sugar-infused "Cimonak" and was beyond pleased. I'll be back soon.
Really great Biergarten vibes! Loved the casual outdoor seating in the back of the bar. The beers were pretty good, not the best I’ve ever had, but the atmosphere itself was so relaxing! Our server was attentive and kept checking if we needed anything. Would definitely come back!
Benelux is one of Montreal's finest craft breweries with two locations, one in the borough of Verdun and the other in the heart of downtown Montreal. I visited the Verdun location. The ambiance was warm and inviting, casual, modern in design. It is located in a former bank, with the heavy vault door as part of the decor. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The small open kitchen pumps out good looking sandwiches, sausages, cheeses and other simple fare (I did not eat). The bar serves liquor, wine, cocktails and most importantly beer, of course. They brew a wide variety of styles to satisfy all tastes. Each one is a solid interpretation of the style brewed and worth trying. Would rate 4.5 if I could.
